Problem Statement
Government departments, NGOs and other activists have time and again tried to emphasize the dire need to modernise water supply and consumption administration and optimize resource utilization.
Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) approved a budget of INR 115Cr to achieve better water resource management by implementing a SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system.
However, the said project by Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) could not deliver, due to various issues, including a reliance on an outdated technology.
Solution by IoTrix
At this time, IoTrix approached TMC and initiated a pilot program with a more advanced IoT and AI-based technology, offering greater efficiency and smarter data-driven insights.
The IoTrix system also offered a GIS (Geographic Information System) integrated water resource monitoring infrastructure; the system has been running successfully for more than a year now.
The said Pilot has received positive feedback from the authorities and has brought in tangible benefits in ensuring a sustainable, efficient and an economical water administration.
